Ultra Dynamic Range (Light and Sound) is an immersive installation conceived through a collaboration between Felipe Pantone, Rosendo Merel, and Admire Audio, presented in the Gothic Cloister of the Centre del Carme de Cultura Contemporània as part of the solo exhibition Prospective.

The work combined a large-scale LED screen with a high-fidelity, high-efficiency sound system to create a sensory environment that expanded the boundaries of visual and auditory perception. Audience interaction became an essential component of the experience: every movement activated generative graphics while simultaneously influencing the work's luminous equilibrium.

Through custom-built algorithms, the installation continuously explored the full spectrum of color, transforming the space into a dynamic canvas where chromatic relationships evolved in real time. Shifts in hue, contrast, and intensity responded directly to the presence and movement of visitors, generating an ever-changing visual composition that emphasized perception, motion, and optical experience.

Sound was conceived as an equally active material. Carefully composed frequencies, ranging from subtle low tones to crystalline high frequencies, interacted with the visual system to shape the perception of color and light. Together, image, movement, and sound formed a unified sensory language, inviting viewers to experience the fluid relationship between chromatic modulation, spatial perception, and human presence.
